Commercial Insurance Account Handler - Southampton

Job title:  Commercial Account Handler

Salary: £30k-£35k

Location: Southampton.

Full time; permanent - 35 hours per week; Monday to Friday 9am -5pm.  No weekends.

Free parking and good public transport routes from Portsmouth and Southampton

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small team of independent insurance brokers.  We are offering a fantastic opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge and expertise of the insurance market and products.  As the business expands there will be further opportunities to grow your knowledge across other product types.

What you will be doing:

Dealing with all aspects of the client's account from new business; renewals; and adjustments for primarily property owners, SME business

Providing advice on claims and assisting the client to ensure claims are settled quickly

Developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients

Responsible for ensuring clients are correctly and adequately insured for all their insurance exposures and that correct advice is given.

About you:

You will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of Commercial insurance experience

Desired skills:

• SME experience in account account-handling role with a broker
• Cert CII
