A well-established, growing exhibition organiser and publisher based on the outskirts of Salisbury are looking to hire a Media Sales and Account Manager to promote their flagship magazine and B2B trade exhibitions.

They are looking to recruit a confident sales negotiator and closer to sell sponsorship and publishing opportunities to key decision makers. Reporting to the Director, this is an exciting opportunity to forge a career in B2B events & media sales.

The role involves generating sales and attaining revenue targets through selling digital and print advertising and sponsorship opportunities as well as promoting their industry award winning events. The role is primarily office based but may also involve an element of face-to-face meetings with clients.

All aspects of your sales skills will be required: researching new leads, cold calling, identifying new opportunities, benefit selling, handling objections successfully, closing deals and winning trust with the aim of building long-term commercial relationships. The role will test your abilities, but it will be thoroughly rewarding and will enhance your value as an experienced sales professional.

To be considered for this role you must have 1 year minimum in a B2B sales role in a media or similar industry, although would consider a strong salesperson with excellent selling, negotiating and closing skills. Must drive due to location
