Job Description:

As a Medical Secretary, your role will be crucial in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Your responsibilities will include:

• Transcribing dictation of assessments and medical reports.
• Audio and copy typing of letters, facsimiles, and other documents.
• Arranging meetings as required.
• Answering phone calls and handling inquiries.
• Maintaining calendars and schedules.
• Booking patient CPA/117 meetings.
• Correlating CPA reports and attending Care Programme Approach meetings, taking minutes, typing them up, and distributing them.
• Updating Excel spreadsheets related to CPA reports.
• Correlating Multi-Disciplinary Team reviews, arranging distribution, and updating Excel spreadsheets.
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Updating Care Notes as appropriate.
• Attending meetings to take minutes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience as a medical secretary.
• Proficient audio typist.
• Ability to take minutes during meetings.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Up-to-date IT skills.
