Job Title: Business Development Lead (Contract & Temp Recruitment)

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per year + uncapped commission (10% of all revenue)
Location: Remote (Office space available if preferred)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced business development lead with a background in contract and temporary recruitment. If you’re passionate about growing a desk, love the thrill of client acquisition, and want to focus purely on BD without handling candidates—this could be your next move.
Responsibilities

Build and grow a contract/temp recruitment desk.

Convert warm, qualified leads into active clients and job vacancies.

Manage and maintain strong client relationships.

Work closely with a delivery team who manage all candidate sourcing.

Achieve monthly KPIs focused on vacancy generation and revenue targets.
Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in contract or temp recruitment.

Proven success in business development and client conversion.

Experience building a contract desk from scratch is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Familiarity with engineering, technology, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.

Comfortable working independently in a results-driven environment.
