Temp Recruitment Consultant – Driving Division (Office-Based)
📍 Hedge End, Southampton – Covering London & the South East
💰 £35,000 + Monthly & Annual Bonuses (OTE £40k+)
🕒 Full-time | Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts (7–3 / 8–4 / 9–5)

Are you a driven, fast-paced temp recruiter who thrives on keeping people working and clients happy? We’re growing our Driving division and looking for an energetic Temp Recruitment Consultant to join our busy Hedge End office.
This is a warm desk in the temporary driving market. No candidate sourcing required – your role focuses on maximising driver utilisation, filling bookings, and proactively engaging with clients across the region.
What You’ll Do
✔ Manage a pool of full-time and ad-hoc drivers
✔ Work closely with builders merchant clients across London & the South East
✔ Ensure all drivers are out working – target of 75 drivers placed weekly
✔ Proactively call lapsed and current clients when you have spare drivers
✔ Allocate drivers efficiently to minimise travel and maximise fulfilment
✔ Maintain accurate data in our driver management system and CRM
✔ Build strong, professional relationships with clients, drivers, and your internal team
✔ Manage driver timeclocks for accurate payroll and invoicing
✔ Produce regular reports for internal and external use
✔ Escalate operational or commercial concerns to the Scheduling Manager
✔ Collaborate with fellow consultants to achieve SLA and KPI targets
About You
You will succeed in this role if you are:

Experienced in temp recruitment (industrial, driving, or construction preferred)

A natural hunter who loves winning business and staying commercially sharp

Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Outgoing, confident, and adaptable when dealing with different people

A strong team player who contributes positively to a supportive team of 4 within a 10-person office
